Recently, I spoke at the Agile Virtual Summit on the topic of Eliciting the Positive Emotional Attractor (PEA). As the world has become more technically enabled and automated, machines have taken over many transactional tasks humans once did. The same technology has created new opportunities and challenges that are most effectively solved by people working closely together with high levels of interdependence and creativity.
This session draws on research and techniques in cognitive science, psychology, organizational behavior, and more. During this session, we will discuss considerations for knowledge work, including ethics, as we experience the PEA and corresponding Negative Emotional Attractor (NEA).
